Balance

One of the biggest challenges in life is to achieve a balanced lifestyle. It’s hard to find time to do everything we want. We want to work and make money. We want to spend tiime with family and friends. We want to exercise. We want to go out and have fun. We want to read. We want to watch series and movies. Apart from all these wants, we also have needs. We need to sleep. We need to eat. We need to study. We need to be prepared for future opportunities. Once I watched a ted video about a guy who splits his day into 3 parts. 8 hours to work, 8 hours to relax and 8 hours to sleep. It makes sense but it is hard to achieve this balance. We quite often feel guilty that we don’t spend  much time with our children. We feel guilty when we feel relieved that they are entertained by gadgets. What a challenge! Use our 24 hours a day in a positive way. Far away from social medias. Not being tempted by looking at what others are doing or eating or wearing. I’m so glad that I don’t like using social medias. I’m so glad that I’ve started writing on this blog again. Writing here makes me think. It’s a break from all the daily tasks and routines. How controversial! Such a shy person being a teacher and writing a blog. But let’s not forget the title: balance. Balanced lifestyle is a priority now.
