It’s never too late to do something new. I decided to take a master’s degree at 50! And on the other side of the world! And taking my whole family with me! Crazy? No, not crazy. Just with an incredible desire to live and experience new things! Not easy. Not easy at all. It required a lot of organization and planning. All kinds of organization and planning. Money, papers, documents, work, home, etc etc etc. It gave me so much work but so much work that I almost gave up. I’m glad I didn’t. Living in Sydney with my family for one year was an amazing experience! My kids learned so much! They grew and got mature. They learned a language and made friends. They overcame obstacles and were proud of themselves. It’s cliche to say ‘never too late’ but it’s so true! Once I watched a video about a woman who started skydiving at 50! Her name was Dilys Price. She was an example for everyone! Her video inspired me so much that I showed it to several students. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDy2gN4pu7c. I was born on September 3 so it means I’m a virgo. People say that this horoscope sign likes routine and it’s true. I love routine! However, it’s very surprising that I’ve changed so much since the pandemic started. I thought that I didn’t like changes, but maybe I do. Before covid-19, I used to say that I would never teach online. In March of 2020 I started teaching online and fell in love with it. Then in May of 2022 I began teaching face-to-face again but in Sydney a large group of students. Now back in POA, I’m teaching online and face-to-face. Who knows what’s gonna happen next? I don’t know but I’ve been thinking about doing something different. Something that I have never done before. Too late? Probably not. Let’s wait and see!
